Hello!
I'm Sean Maher, the founder and owner of Attic Light Studio, LLC, a WordPress-focused web development small business located in Shepherdstown, in the scenic eastern panhandle of West Virginia.
I started Attic Light Studio in 2018. I've crafted many websites over the years, from simple brochure sites to data-driven interactive catalogs, e-commerce sites, educational sites, and influencer blogs.
I’ve worked for and with design agencies, in-house marketing departments, and freelancers of all stripes.

Why I founded Attic Light Studio
I have had to deal with a lot of sub-par websites so I decided to build quality sites that had everything clients and users needed, and everything they didn't know they needed. With mobile/responsive designs, requirements from Google, setting up DNS; all these things are complicated but virtually every website needs them. However, I found too many developers don't deliver on the crucial details.
I have a procedure for creating sites that I've been perfecting over the years (and continue to evaluate and upgrade as new technologies come along). I included an array of plugins, best-practices and services that keep my sites secure, running fast, accessible to the widest audience and technically correct.
That doesn't mean my sites are cookie-cutter; on the contrary. Having the basics already taken care of means we're free to be as creative as we'd like to be!
